Tsukimiya Minami is just an ordinary convenience store worker trying to make ends meet—another day, another dollar. But things takes an unexpected turn during a late-night shift when she encounters a mysterious stranger in need of help. Against her better judgment, Minami offers her a place to stay. Little does she know, her new and annoying (yet surprisingly captivating) roommate is more than meets the eye (and ear) with a plate full of troubles. Yet, Minami can’t seem to resist lending a hand. As Minami gains a new temporary roommate, she soon also ends up gaining something else unexpectedly… find out by playing through The Moon That Fell For The Star !

For having an extra month to work on this game, I sure still rushed the game to the very end lol. The past few months have been really busy!! I've been touching grass a lot more, hence eating into the time I could have been working on the game, but it's all good, the game still made it on time-ish! This year's game is more on the simpler side, I think! Nothing too crazy this year! It's also a tiny bit different than the other ones we've made, so it might seem a little rushed and rough around the edges at times, but I still hope you enjoy playing through it!
Alsooo, next year is Team ANPIM's 10th Year Anniversary!! Can you believe it?! Sit tight for some announcements!
Edit v1.1: Fixed a bug where the bonus doodle kept appearing as unlocked in the CG Gallery.

The story felt realistic and the artwork is so pretty, it's always a treat playing yalls games!
Also I read your afterword and as a long time fan, I gotta say I hope you don't feel too much pressure to try to outdo yourself with every game! Another year, another awesome yuriful vn from TeamANPIM.
I really enjoyed this. It feels like a different approach from all the other stories, but that keeps it fresh. Honestly just think it's impossible not to enjoy any game that you release. The little easter eggs sprinkled here and there. I could gush for hours about everything but I'm charting close to spoiler zone. All I will say about the story is that it made my heart do a whole gymnastics routine and I am smiling throughout the whole thing.
Now to the important question. I'm really curious about the onigiri Hokuto likes. Tuna. Is it tuna flake, tuna mayo, or some mysterious tuna flavor that only true tuna lovers know about? Me personally I love tuna mayo, but I respect any who eats tuna.
Also on the topic of Hokuto.... I know it wasn't intentional, but seeing her name sparked a tremendous amount of joy in my japanese pro wrestle loving heart. As did seeing a BoA reference.
Anyways, congratulations on 10 years. I wish you good luck for the upcoming year! Thank you so much for this wicked vn.

As for Hokuto's tuna onigiri, I never thought about it, but let's say it's just tuna flake onigiri 😂. Also yes!! As I was googling for people that were named Hokuto (to verify if it's an actual name that's used or not), the pro wrestler was one that came up (though it's more her stage name than real name)! And yesss, had to include some pop star references here and there : )

Spoilers.
First TeamANPIM game that turns somewhat depressing and then open-ended. Um, realistic? I dunno. It started like a typical anime romance. Fate: Take 1 girlfriend! *click-click*, *everything clicks on place* - *kiss*. But then "we can't be together / then I'm leaving? / oh wait~ / goodbye." So, sacrificing romance for a laboriously built career... A mature decision? Probably. Then fate: delay(5 years); There is your girlfriend! Terminate story. Open ending for the sake of open-endedness... It probably wouldn't take that much to add a clear resolution... Sequel? It might make sense, there's also a line about Minami learning to play the guitar that hasn't gotten us anywhere yet, so it could use a continuation too.
I enjoyed the creator's previous works more. but that's probably me, I like cheesy stories that take me away from reality a bit 😅

We didn't want to rush their relationship amongst the circumstances that Hokuto had and thought that this was the best non-rushed way of ending the game! Spoilers ahead, but I really enjoyed this game.
I never thought a TeamANPIM game could hurt me! I was just waiting to see how they made it work and then they didn't and I was physically reacting. If the main menu had come up after that fade to white I might have actually screamed at 2am. Thank god fate won't let these two stay apart, I would have lost my mind. The ending felt so mature, even though I'm sad I don't get to see them dating (unless perhaps a sequel????) I can't help but be satisfied. There's something in knowing that fate itself is looking out for them, I know they're going to be okay. Thank goodness Minami has a force of the universe on her side, her dense noggin needs it.

Those parting words Hokuto left Minami with? I felt those. Those hurt. But hey, not a bad idea to mix things up cause it makes the hopeful reunion that much sweeter.
I'm glad you discussed whether or not they would've "earned" being together compared to the time they spent prior; it annoys me so much when (mostly movies) shoehorn in romance/sex despite characters barely knowing each other. Maybe I'm biased for VNs, but the smaller time jumps and time they did spend felt sufficient as-is.
That smile emote on Hokuto's shirt is so perfect for her. And a Team ANPIM karaoke bar? *wink wink nudge nudge*
Separately, is the last CG in the Gallery supposed to be the bonus doodle? It's still locked after completing the game.

I did and it still stayed locked.
Looking at screens.rpy, I see cg6 is referenced as: image cg6 = "images/cg/cg6.png"
In the images/cg folder, there is no cg6.png, it's "bonus doodle.png" (which is what's referenced in script.rpy)
I don't know the gallery unlock logic, so not sure if just changing the name would be sufficient or not. (I just know renaming bonus doodle to CG6 did NOT fix the gallery and just broke it in the main game (no surprise with that one)).
Edit: But what do I know... "cg2.png" doesn't exist either (CG2-2-2.png in the folder), but the karaoke CG shows up fine.
Edit 2: lolol at the commented out credits Afterword for Love Goes Toward Love.
I fixed it! Updated the file! Don't think you need to redownload it just for the bonus doodle to show up in the gallery, but by all means!

Me when playing the game: theyre definitely gonna end up together -> np theyll get together after they show their feelings to each other -> wait are they breaking up before they even start dating? -> wait wait wait is this ANPIMs first story with a breakup ending? -> oh no -> oh yes!
Tbh Ive always been afraid of works about the universe, reminding me how short life is and how insignificant humans are. But stars are always beautiful, especially when theyre with the moon. Stars in the sky, and stars on a stage
